Holly Boys Win League Golf Title

Seven golfers shot under 80 strokes at the Flint Metro League boys' golf tournament, and three of those seven were from Holly, leading the Bronchos to their first outright FML boy's golf title since 1975. Holly scored 318 as a team, followed by Swartz Creek with a team score of 326. The Bronchos had the individual medalist in Justin Zile, who carded a 76 for his 18 holes on a cool windy day. Other golfers shooting under 80 included Holly's Ryan Bilkos (77) and Charlie Vana (79), Lapeer East's Jafar Dada and Mitchell Morris (77 each), Fenton's Tyler Nunn (78), and Brock Veenhuis of Swartz Creek (79).
