Lapeer West and Oxford Share Fortieth FML Football Title

The 40th Flint Metro League football championship will be shared by Lapeer West and Oxford. Oxford defeated Linden in the last game of the regular season to give the Wildcats their share, while Lapeer West won on the same field where Lapeer High School claimed the Metro's first football championship. Oxford and Lapeer West are also the only FML schools to win state championships.

Linden will join the Wildcats and Panthers in the MHSAA playoffs.
