Lapeer East Wins Its First Boys Soccer League Title

Lapeer East finished its Flint Metro League season with a 7-1 record to win its first boys' soccer league championship. The Eagles used a stiff defense to claim the title under coach Chad Kenny.

The very balanced Metro will now have a week of non-league competition (with the exception of a Linden/Swartz Creek tilt) to prepare for MHSAA district tournaments.
