Fenton Athlete Alex Ralston Named MHSAA Scholarship Winner, Fellow Tiger Joshua Cupp Is Finalist

Alex Ralston, a three-sport standout for the Fenton Tigers, has been named a winner of a prestigious MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Award which includes a $1000 scholarship. The award, underwritten by Farm Bureau Insurance, is presented to only 6 male scholar-athletes from Class A schools in Michigan. More about Alex can be found on this website by going to "Athletes of the Month" under "Scholar-Athletes" in the menu at the top of this page, or by using the link to the MHSAA website under "Links" above.

Another Tiger, Joshua Cupp, had been named with Alex as a finalist for the award. Josh has lettered in football, wrestling and track for Fenton, serving as a team captain in all three, and is active in the National Honor Society and Captain's Club.

The Flint Metro League congratulates Alex and Joshua for their success in the classroom and athletics, and Fenton High School for having two MHSAA Scholar-Athlete finalists, a rare occurrence in our state!
