Oxford Wins Girls CC League Meet To Claim Tri-Championship With Linden and Holly

The top three girls' cross country teams in Flint Metro League dual meets reversed their places in the league meet to create a tri-championship for the 2009 season. Oxford, 7-2 in league duals, won the girls' meet with 68 points, while Linden (8-1) was second with 75 points and Holly (9-0) third with 97, one point better than Lapeer East.

The meet showed the balance in the FML this season, with the top seven individual finishers coming from seven different teams.
